Access to the current 4 years of the Wall Street Journal - available either via website or app (IOS or Android). Access is restricted to current Colgate Students, Faculty, and Staff. Users must create individual accounts after logging on with Colgate Network username and password.

AM Explorer (Adam Matthew)

Access to over 60 primary source collections ranging from material on the United States, Britain and its colonies, Native American studies, Asian studies, Gender studies, and Literature.  Databases can be searched in a single unified interface or can be searched individually.  

Scifinder-n

The Scifinder interface for searching in chemistry has been upgraded to Scifinder-n adding new functionality.

Archives Unbound (Gale)

Access to approximately 300 primary source collections. These may be searched as part of the Gale Primary Sources interface and later in 2019 will be available to search and browse individually.  

 

Electronic Enlightentment (Oxford)

1600-1900 - a collection of edited correspondence of the early modern period, linking people across Europe, the Americas and Asia from the early 17th to the mid-19th century.

 

Irish Times (Proquest)

1859- 2 years ago The Irish Times and the Weekly Irish Times (1876-1958). From the aftermath of the Great Famine, the launch of the Titanic, and the Easter Rising of 1916, to the World Wars, the Troubles, to recent events.

 

LGBT Magazine Archive (Proquest)

26 of the most influential, longest-running serial publications covering LGBT interests. Includes the pre-eminent US and UK titles – The Advocate and Gay Times, respectively. Chronicles more than six decades of the history and culture of the LGBT community. In addition to LGBT/gender/sexuality studies, this material also serves related disciplines such as sociology, political science, psychology, health, and the arts. Some publications may contain explicit content. The first 13 titles have been added, additional content will be made available later this year.

Jstor Lives of Literature

This resource supports advanced literary studies and interdisciplinary research on writers and texts critical to curricula in literature. With its focus on journals that use an author or text as a starting place, Lives of Literature also fulfills a scholarly resource need for in-depth study and courses on a single author or text. It will contain 120 journals when completed.  The contents include - Medieval Authors & Texts, Modernest Authors,  Victorian, Edwardian & Gothic Authors, and Literary Theorists.  There is no separate interface. but there is a Libguide describing contents.  Titles are included in the Jstor Archive and have been added to JournalFinder and ArticleLinker.

The Rand Daily Mail, published daily in Johannesburg, is a critically important title that pioneered popular journalism in South Africa. It is renowned today for being the first newspaper to openly oppose apartheid and contribute to its downfall.

S&P CapitalIQ and S&P Market Intelligence

Databases produced by Standard & Poor's that can be used to find detailed company financial information for U.S. and international public and private companies and investment firms. 
Access is restricted to current faculty, students and staff for academic purposes

Preview of United States Supreme Court Cases

Provides expert, plain-language analysis of all cases given plenary review by the Supreme Court in advance of oral argument. Provides links to the assorted briefs associated with the cases.
