Service was restored by 1:00 pm July 18, 2017

We received the following message from Proquest regarding a service interruption.

ProQuest platforms are currently experiencing connectivity issues.

We are working diligently to resolve the issue and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Do you use U.S. Government Information?

The libraries are evaluating our U.S. Government Documents collection. Currently, we're running a survey that it open to Colgate students, faculty and staff (focused primarily on faculty, but others are welcome to contribute), asking for information on how you use print and online materials for research and in the classroom. If community members would like to contribute, you can contact Debbie Krahmer, Digital Learning & Government Documents Librarian, directly at dkrahmer@colgate.edu.

Many internet sites including library resources are not available today - Friday - October 21, 2016

Due to a denial of service attack on an east coast hub, many internet sites are not accessible this afternoon.  The error message is as follows:

This site can’t be reached

www.ancestrylibrary.com’s server DNS address could not be found.

DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

There is nothing that the Libraries or our vendors can do to resolve the problem until the technical infrastructure is restored.
