Completed -- Changes in Interlibrary Loan authentication effective January 6, 2017
In our efforts to simplify access to library resources, we have enabled Interlibrary Loan (on the ILLiad platform) to use your existing Colgate network ID and current password (what you use to log into the Portal) to access your account. The majority of you won’t notice any change in how you access Interlibrary Loan.
On January 6, 2017, we will completely transition to this mode of authentication and individually created accounts will be merged with your Colgate network credentials. Your old individually created account will cease, and you will use your Colgate network ID and current password to access your Interlibrary Loan account. Your account transaction history will be preserved*.
*Please be aware that if you haven’t used your Interlibrary Loan account in the last few years, your transaction history may not be preserved.
During the merging process the service will be unavailable for a few hours in the early morning.
If you have any questions or access issues please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
